Paint Correction Panel & Pad Tracker

Got interrupted mid-correction and forgot where you were? Tap each panel to mark the stage you finished — heavy cut, medium, or finish. Never double-polish a panel (or over-thin the clear coat) again.

🎨 "I came back and couldn't remember — did I finish the hood, and was that a medium or a cutting pad?" This keeps your place for you. Tap a panel, mark the stage, and it stays saved on your phone — even if you close the page mid-job.

A visual aid to keep your place — nothing is uploaded; your progress is saved only in this browser on this device. Always confirm your work by eye and by paint-depth readings.

You track every panel. Nobody is tracking the calls you miss.

You know exactly which pad touched which panel, and nothing at all about the three people who called while you were doing it. Missed-call text-back makes sure those callers get an answer.

Paint correction tracking — frequently asked questions

How to stay organized during a multi-stage correction and protect the clear coat. The questions detailers ask most.

How do I keep track of paint correction across a whole car?

Work panel by panel in a set order and mark each one as you finish its stage, so an interruption never costs you your place. This tracker gives you a car diagram — tap a panel, mark it heavy cut, medium, or finish, and the color updates. It saves on your phone, so you can put it down mid-job and pick up exactly where you left off.

How do I avoid double-polishing or over-thinning the clear coat?

Every pass removes a little clear coat, so polishing a panel twice by accident thins it and risks strike-through. The fix is a system: track which panels are done and which stage each is at, and never re-cut a finished panel without a reason. Marking panels green as you finish them makes accidental double passes obvious at a glance.

What order should I polish the panels of a car?

Most detailers work top-down and around the car so they don't reach over finished areas: roof, then hood and trunk, then upper panels, then doors and lower panels, finishing with bumpers. Pick a consistent order and mark each panel here as you complete it — consistency is what stops you from missing a section.

Does this tracker save my progress if I close the page?

Yes. Your panel states and the vehicle name are stored in your browser on that device, so closing the tab or locking your phone won't lose them. Tap "New car" to clear it and start the next vehicle. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
