Auto Detailing Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
We only collect information you choose to give us. This includes:
We do not knowingly collect payment card details through this website.
This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual. Our calculators, generators, trackers and the Detailing School run entirely inside your browser. Your prices, your customers, your payroll figures, your mileage, your chemical inventory, your SDS records — all of it is stored only in your own device's local storage. None of it is ever sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, we cannot recover it for you, and we could not hand it over if we were asked to. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, so export or print anything you need to keep.
We use the information you provide to:
We do not sell or rent your personal information for money.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR requires us to name a legal basis for each use:
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that make the site work, and only for that purpose:
These providers act on our instructions for the services above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We are based in Serbia and our providers are largely in the United States, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live, including outside the EEA and the UK. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, and/or the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable. You can ask us for details.
Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie and storage key individually. In short:
Every free tool on this site works with all optional cookies rejected. You never have to accept advertising to use anything here.
We keep enquiries and estimate requests for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Tool-feedback messages are kept until the issue is fixed and then deleted in the ordinary course. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.
Wherever you live, you can email autodetailingdevelopment@gmail.com and ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. We answer within 30 days and we do not charge for it. We will never treat you worse for making a request.
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Because our processing is limited to enquiries and advertising cookies, most requests are simple for us to fulfil.
You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, the authority in the country where you live or work. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
California (CCPA/CPRA) and the laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida and other states give residents the right to know what personal information is collected and why, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Some states also give you the right to appeal if we refuse a request — reply to our decision and we will review it.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. However, serving personalised ads through Google AdSense can count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You can opt out in any of these ways, all of which we honour:
The categories involved are identifiers (such as an advertising cookie ID and IP address) and internet activity (pages viewed), shared with Google for advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use or disclose it for inferring characteristics.
We only email you in reply to something you sent us, or about a project we are working on together. If we ever send a marketing email it will identify who it is from and carry a working unsubscribe link, as US CAN-SPAM requires, and we will act on an unsubscribe promptly. You can also just tell us to stop and we will.
The whole site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and the inbox that receives them is protected by two-factor authentication. The tools deliberately keep your business data on your own device, which is the strongest protection we can offer: data we never receive cannot be leaked by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Some links on this site — mainly in the Shop section — are affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of them, we may earn a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We recommend gear on its merits, not on what pays the most, and commissions are what keep the tools and guides on this site free to use.
Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the retailer's own site, where their privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours. Retailers typically set a cookie so a purchase can be attributed to us.
Our website may link to third-party sites (such as social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
The data controller is Auto Detailing Development, operating from Serbia, contactable at autodetailingdevelopment@gmail.com. We are a small operation and that address reaches us directly — there is no separate data protection officer, because our processing does not require one.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at autodetailingdevelopment@gmail.com.
